Robeal Winecellars and Vineyards

Robeal, is a young company. Born of enthusiasm for the world of wine D. Julio Miñón Miñón, leading an innovative project under the technical direction of his son Rodrigo Miñón García.

ROBEAL the name comes from RODRIGO, BEATRIZ AND ALBERTO. The three sons of Julio Miñon Miñón, owner of the Bodega.

It was during the year 1998, beginning with the planting of 55 hectares of vineyards, all TEMPRANILLO, in the municipalities of Roa de Duero. In 2000 he began to build on Roa, nerve centre of the Designation Ribera del Duero, the cave, all of it surrounded by vineyards.

When, in 2001, founded Julio Miñón Wineries and Vineyards Robeal, opted for an ideal family to care vines and wine. This philosophy has led to locate their wines among the most prestigious of the Ribera del Duero.

The winery is situated in the picturesque town of Roa de Duero, nerve centre of the Denominación de Origen Ribera del Duero, and is equipped with the latest generation of technical means to ensure a perfect preparation.In order to obtain the best wines are dedicated to the effort required painstaking care of the vines and select grapes from the winery itself.

The Barrel cellar account of a park with a capacity of 2000 barrels which combines the American oak with oak French. The ability of the Bodega environment is estimated to 600,000 liters. The heterogeneous composition of the soil clay - limestone calcareous and gives wines a formidable complexity.
